Corporate and Volume Discounts
We will consider special arrangements with corporations, institutions, teaching
programs, group practices, and other volume buyers
Medical Coats as Gifts
A better medical coat makes the ideal gift for a doctor on
many occasions: a birthday, a holiday, or from a grateful
patient. We can also make one-of-a-kind medical lab coats in special cottons,
silks, woolens, linens, or your fabric. Please call us about such special coats.
Gift Certificates
With gift certificates, the purchase becomes turnkey for the donor. We help the recipient with sizing,
embroidery choices, and shipping. Gift certificates can be used as rewards to improve performance, such as with coding,
documentation, or patient satisfaction, or as premiums in
marketing surveys.
Group Membership Discounts
All providers in a group receive a discount. Providers purchase
their own coats, and arrange for size and embroidery. The
company incurs no expense for this benefit except notifying
the members.
Coat Subscriptions, or "Coat of
the Month"
New coats are automatically sent at defined intervals. This
guarantees a constant supply of fresh coats without the need
to call each time. We keep size and embroidery information
on file. Please call for a coat subscription.
Site Visits
For groups and training programs, we can visit a site and
help with sizing. We bring a spectrum of sizes and fabrics, and we help the staff find their correct sizes, note alterations(such as length or sleeve alterations, belts and zippers), and process the orders.
One Box system
When onsite visits are not possible, we can send a One-Box, which is a single package that contains flyers, order forms, embroidery samples,
and coats in a range of sizes. Your staff select size and embroidery, and
return the forms with the One-Box. We process the orders and
ship the coats. This affords considerable savings in shipping. For large groups that need to size throughout
the year, a One Box can be purchased.
AMA Guidelines for Gifts to Physicians
The American Medical Association Guidelines suggest that
physicians may accept gifts that are not excessively expensive,
and that provide some benefit to patients. The donor's cost
is less relevant than the usual price of the article to the
physician in everyday commerce. We submit that a more functional
coat enhances the physician's practice, and therefore benefits
patients. For further information, please refer to the AMA
Guidelines at http://www.ama-assn.org/ama/pub/category/4263.html.
